Ma3bar is a consortium of academicians, scientists, and professionals who have partnered together to promote FOSS in the Arab Region and provide adequate support for research and development of FOSS in Arab communities. Our members range from deans and department heads to computer scientists, researchers and graduate students from the Arab academic and professional computing societies.
Becoming a Ma3bar partner gives you the opportunity to contribute to the accomplishment of the goals of the center. The major activity of Ma3bar is to increase awareness about FOSS and to train stakeholders in the Arab region on the use and the development of FOSS.
